Crude, Rude and a Bully. How Did We Come to This?
Our take on the entire debate was summed up in one phrase by Joe Biden. “Will you shut up, man!” We’ve waited over 5 years to have Trump shut up. He is a bully, a cheat, a liar and gum stuck on the bottom of a shoe. To be fair, he may have hi good points — like liking his grand-kids — but as a politician and as a man, his sum is zero. Less than zero. Ask his victims.
Trump’s performance demonstrated his contempt for all of us. We are still waiting for him to sincerely acknowledge that on his watch over 200,000 Americans have died from COVID19, and instead of downplaying the pandemic, he exacerbated it with his inability to comprehend any sort of science and his arrogance in thinking he knows more than epidemiologists do.
While he may have been good for Wall Street for a while, the economic condition of the rest of us has devolved into massive unemployment and business closings, because in his envy of President Obama, he dismantled the pandemic office of the CDC and it’s China outpost so that we were caught with our pants down around our ankles.
What kind of idiot takes away our first line of defense against something as dangerous as an ever evolving disease? Oh right the bigoted, jealous kind, who instead of building upon the ACA has repeated tried to dismantle it as well — and is currently suing to take away health care and protecting those with pre-existing conditions — in the middle of a pandemic.
We won’t even get into his obvious loyalty to anyone but America. We are guessing that he applauds Erdogan’s attempts to take over the old Ottoman Empire, or Putin’s strong-arming Russia. This bully clings to other bullies, like a two-year-old holding his mother’s hand.
Trump’s mother never taught him even basic manners, let alone truth-telling, respect, or even appreciation of the American way of life. Of course, she was an illegal immigrant who got her green card when she married KKK Fred Trump. Obviously no cages for Mary Trump. Or his wife and her Einstein visa. Only small children separated from their families and imprisoned in the land of the free.
He lies about everything. He stress only his own overinflated ego and evil intentions. His failure to denounce white supremacy, or to accept that our elections are pretty much flawless exercises in the will of the people show how frightened he is of the future. He is trying to cling to power as a way to avoid the IRS, the millions he owes in loans coming due, his reprehensible behavior to women — and children — over the years as countless women are in the wings waiting to denounce him. He won’t give a sample of his DNA, in case other women have evidence of his misbehaving.
He knows he will be arrested, unless, when he loses, he resigns and gets Pence to pardon him and his toxic children. We’re betting he’ll try to make a deal with the State of New York to do his time under house arrest. Or he will fight extradition from Florida, where he can hide at Mar-a-Lago and pretend to be the “government in exile.”
Only now, all we want to say is, “Will you shut up man!”
